Friends and Artists,
We hope you that you are enjoying this cozy spring afternoon watching the April showers outside. This week we are focusing on how creativity is helping us process and understand our changing context. We are the pioneers of finding a new way of survival in an era of crisis. As we continue to adjust to sheltering in place and social distancing, many of us are turning to creative activities as a bright spot in our day.
Whether it’s experimenting in the kitchen, exploring crafts online, or dusting off a book you’ve been meaning to read, creativity plays a unique role in how each person chooses to make it through their day. As we embrace the changes in our world and in our daily lives, it is critical to take the time to invest in our mental, physical, and creative well-being. Rather than focusing on productivity, we challenge you to think about what nourishes your creativity.
Now more than ever, we have more time to create, an act which brings back the focus on hope and restoration. Inspiration can be found anywhere. So take a breath. Dabble in something new. Learn fearlessly. Embrace your curiosity. Give yourself permission to keep dreaming. Explore new ways to bring meaning into your everyday.
In the coming weeks, we will continue to be a source of hope, inspiration, and moral support. For more information about our mission, visit our website, or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Keep the creativity flowing!
