Our Response to COVID-19

Post from Thursday, April 9, 2020

Dear Fellow Partners of the Arts,

As the world comes together to face the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to reach out and let each of our supporters know how Southwest Washington Center for the Arts is responding to these challenging times. Every decision we make is guided by our long-standing commitment to enrich and inspire our community through the arts. To learn more about our mission, visit our website.

SPREADING HOPE THROUGH THE ARTS

In times like these it is more important than ever to acknowledge the critical impact the arts have on our lives. That’s why over the next months, we will be sharing tools and resources that will enable you to digitally and virtually enjoy arts experiences while sheltering at home. Our new weekly newsletter will include activities, performances, inspiring words, podcasts, guides for everyday wellness, and other free arts resources that are accessible online.

WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER

We are committed to thinking long-term about our mission, despite the short-term uncertainty. Our vital arts community is not going away. That’s why we plan to help our creative community thrive by highlighting opportunities promoting our local artists and arts organizations. Know of an arts-related opportunity from our local community? Submit the details at info@centerforartswwa.org to get it featured in an upcoming newsletter!

There is no doubt, we are all in this together. In the coming weeks, we will continue to be a source of hope, inspiration, and moral support. Stay well friends… and remember to wash your hands!

Sincerely,

The SWCA Team
