VANCOUVER WINE AND JAZZ FESTIVAL RETURNS TO ESTHER SHORT PARK

Yellowjackets

Friends and Artists,

The Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival returns to Esther Short Park this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after a 2-year hiatus caused by the pandemic. The 3-day festival remains one of the largest Jazz events in the Pacific Northwest, and will feature 17 ensembles representing both local talent and internationally recognized acts.

The festival lineup includes the return of Grammy Award winner Diana Schuur, whose participation at the first festival in 1998 helped establish the continued success of the event. Additional headlining acts include blues singer Sue Foley, conguero Poncho Sanchez, guitarist Raul Midón, the Connie Han Trio, and the long standing and wildly popular Yellowjackets. Regional favorite ensembles include the Norman Sylvester Blues Band, the Portland Cello Project, and rock violinist Aaron Meyer.

The Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival was established in 1998, and each year more than 150 volunteers lend their efforts to ensure the success of the event. 17 vineyards and 6 craft breweries give attendees the opportunity to sample wine and beer from the region's top producers. In addition to the music and beverages, 21 fine artists will have their work on display and available for purchase.

Tickets begin at $30, and children aged 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
