A Year of Reflection

Friends and Artists,

This has been a time of resilience, growth, and transformation. Today we're reflecting back on some of our highlights from 2020.
Early in the year, our efforts toward location assessment, proposal development, and community engagement transformed in innovative ways. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we launched this Arts & Culture Newsletter highlighting opportunities to promote local artists and arts organizations.

We initiated a recurring focus group where arts leaders can connect, share resources, and navigate challenges collaboratively. Our organization participated in its first Give More 24 fundraiser and facilitated a series of focus groups with our partners and community leaders. We learned to embrace change, show strength in the face of uncertainty, and think deeply about what our work means in the context of a changing world.
Though 2020 has been a year like no other, our small team has been able to step up to the challenge because of our community's growing support.

Thanks to artists, donors, partners, and readers like you, we can continue our mission to build a Center for the Arts that will enrich and inspire our region.
Together we can set the stage for a future where the arts are always growing and thriving - This journey is only made possible with the support from readers like you! For more information about our mission, visit our website, or contact us at info@centerforartswwa.org. Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
The SWCA Team
