Laying the Groundwork

2020 has been a year of careful listening.

In the spring, we started a network of small groups for arts leaders to engage in a dialogue about the challenges, adaptations, and triumphs they've experienced in the arts. In the summer months we opened the floor to start a conversation with our readers on how our community can answer Vancouver's call for culture; You told us why the arts are vital, and how they have enriched your own experience. Last month, we hosted several focus groups to explore the next steps for bring this incredible project forward.

With 2021 just around the corner, we will continue to branch out and gather valuable input from our stakeholders, artists, and community leaders. Interested in sharing your thoughts and ideas in a future focus group? Reply to this email with your first and last name and preferred email address to join our list.

Thank you for helping us keep the arts accessible, thought-provoking, and vibrant. Together we can set the stage for a future where the arts are always growing and thriving - This journey is only made possible with the support and participation from readers like you! Sincerely,
The SWCA Team
