Catching The Vision
October, 14 2021

Friends and Artists,
We hope you’ve been enjoying the lush and rainy weeks of our beautiful PNW. The arts and culture community of Southwest Washington has continued to build momentum and spread hope as we pivot to ride out, and begin to break free of, the hard impacts of the pandemic. Though the struggle to rebuild a new normal continues, we take heart in our industry’s steady climb from survival to success within our new environment.
At the Southwest Washington Center for the Arts (CFA), we believe that relationships bring strength and resiliency beyond what we can accomplish alone. In friendship, we have engaged and worked alongside our neighbors and fellow community members, embracing innovation and synergy as tools to intentionally build a new vision for tomorrow, not only for the creative community, but for all. The CFA team is overwhelmed with the unified support from our focus groups, arts and business leaders, stage consultants, architects, partners, stakeholders, and philanthropic community.
We can’t wait to continue the next steps in identifying a culturally, historically, and civically rich location for our venue. Stay tuned for more updates as our mission progresses! Thank you for helping us keep the arts accessible, thought-provoking and vibrant. Together we can set the stage for a future where the arts are always growing and thriving for everyone. Wishing you a cozy afternoon.
Sincerely,
The CFA Team
