ARTS | Arts Alive Event
A partnership of Clark County Arts Commission, Artstra, and Columbia is designed to reconnect community with the local arts organizations of Southwest Washington. Be sure to mark your calendar for the first ever Arts Alive! event planned for September 18, from noon to 4PM. Located at the Public Service Center Plaza downtown, Arts Alive! will include informational booths from local groups in a festive atmosphere of live music, dance, poetry, and performance.
MUSIC | Local Composer Spotlight
Local bassoonist and composer Nicole Buetti is the contrabassoonist for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Oregon East Symphony, and the Oregon Coast Music Festival, and a bassoonist in the Portland Columbia Symphony and Chameleon Wind Quintet. She has performed with the Haydn Music Festival Orchestra in Vienna, and as a soloist and chamber music artist with Italy’s Assisi Performing Arts Festival.

Join us on Zoom TONIGHT, July 8th, 2021 at 7PM to experience live poetry from home! Ghost Town Poetry invites you to a virtual Open Mic Night featuring Andrea Hollander, based in Portland, Oregon. Guests are invited to read one poem for three minutes or less. $5 suggested donation.
COMMUNITY | Camas Library Project
Join the Camas Public Library for a collaborative community art project, We All Fit Together! Decorate your puzzle piece so that it represents you as an individual. Once you have finished, return it to the Library by Friday, August 13th. Each registration is good for one piece. Puzzle piece pickup will run from Monday, July 12th through Friday, July 30th (or until supplies last).
