Falling in Love with Arts

Friends and Artists,

With summer in the rearview mirror, our arts community is ripe with new fall opportunities. In the past months, we have all come together to weather the storm and keep carrying the torch. Despite 2020's challenge to engage in artistic experiences, our local arts organizations and artists have worked hard to provide a wide variety of accessible, high-quality experiences to keep the arts live and vibrant.

This new season brings all kinds of activities just waiting to be experienced. Tomorrow, downtown Vancouver will launch its seventh Virtual First Friday Art Walk. FVRL is hosting its annual Artists of the Gorge Exhibit and Words & Pictures Festival online. And the VSO 2020-2021 Season has launched its first successful concert with smashing success.

Local arts and cultural organizations have adapted to engage their audiences in meaningful ways, but they need your help! You can show support by purchasing tickets to your favorite play, attending a virtual or socially-distanced concert, or signing up for a workshop or class. And don't forget to spread the word. We promise to help you keep an eye out for these opportunities in our newsletter.

Let's spread the love to our arts community this fall! Together we can set the stage for a future where the arts are always growing and thriving. For more information about our mission, visit our website, or contact us at info@centerforartswwa.org. Wishing you a Happy October.

Sincerely,
The SWCA Team
